WWE brought the character of The Fiend Bray Wyatt to the public after months of research and got the immediate positive effect by it. Feedbacks from the Internet Wrestling Community suggest that we did not receive such a strong gimmick perhaps in a decade. The well-planned gimmick has taken over the company as people started to believe that this is the persona they’ve looked forward so to receive the true successor of The Undertaker.

The Deadman is inching closer to call it a quit after which the new scary gimmick of The Fiend Bray Wyatt might take things over. Fans do believe in the revamped version of the former leader of the Wyatt faction who has all the potential to be a trailblazer. This is the reason why the creative team did not hesitate to change plans following Summerslam for the entire roster. It was a rare occasion where a single superstar appeared to be the sole reason behind storyline alterations.
Why Didn’t The Fiend Attack Stone Cold On WWE Raw?
According to The Dirty Sheets, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s popularity has caused WWE changing plans for the King Of The Ring 2019 tournament and multiple others feuds.
The current future planning for The Fiend Bray Wyatt is to involve him in the Universal Championship picture around Hell in a Cell. It was not the original plan for sure. But Wyatt topped all other superstars in merchandise sales during SummerSlam weekend and also drew big numbers on Social Media, WWE then decided to put him in the Universal Title picture and also book him to win the Title.
Here’s more to the plans from wwfoldschool.com,
“The King Of The Ring was booked to give Rollins a credible challenger for the Universal Championship. The original winner was scheduled to be Drew McIntyre. But with The Fiend taking McIntyre’s place in the Universal Title picture, WWE changed plans eliminated McIntyre from the tournament.
McIntyre isn’t involved in any feud right and he has some time to heal a minor injury.”
WWE may have not decided the winner of the King Of The Ring tournament since they’re booking it on a week to week basis. Vince McMahon booked Chad Gable and Elias to advance in the King Of The Ring tournament last week on SmackDown just an hour before the show began as everyone was expecting Ali and Andrade to advance. So this appeared to be a big surprise.
As for the Fiend Bray Wyatt, he was about target The Miz after his big win over Finn Balor at Summerslam. The puppets from the Firefly Fun House would have stalked Miz’s daughter. But the Fiend will move to the Universal Title picture. So WWE decided to book Miz in a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. So the originally planned Nakamura vs. Ali feud never took off.
Even Plans for AJ Styles and Ricochet have changed as well due to the Fiend Bray Wyatt. Styles & Ricochet were about to face each other in a United States Championship match once again in a Ladder match. But Ricochet eliminated McIntyre from the King Of The Ring tournament (due to change in plans) and advanced to the semifinal. So Styles had to start a feud with Cedric Alexander for the US title.
