Huge role change for the face of the WWE is in pipeline

WWE is seriously worried about two of the biggest names right now. One is the face of the company and the other is supposed to be the torch bearer after his days are over. It is a confusing situation for the WWE Creative to choose the right direction for the current top brasses of WWE.

Yes, we are speaking about the face John Cena and the founder of the Roman Empire that is Roman Reigns. The face and the supposed successor aren’t pulling in the numbers they were expected to in merchandise sales. Cena’s merch sales are said to be way down from one year ago and WWE is worried about that because Roman Reigns isn’t connecting with fans like they want. Reigns merchandise sales are not making it up like it should be for making up with Cena and especially considering he is out with injury.

WWE officials are worried that Cena’s audience is getting older and that is the reason the merchandise sale is going down and as for today’s kids, they are not connecting with the Cenation leader as they did a decade ago. With everything going out of hand the creative may finally pull the trigger on Cena to turn his heel finally. It’s just a speculation from DailyWrestlingNews but may turn out to be a good idea if executed well as Cena’s heel turn is in the pipeline for a longtime.

As of WWE’s stock of merchandise, Cena is the biggest merchandise mover in the company but the recent low has caused an overstock in the WWEshop.com. The only hope lies with Roman Reigns’ push for Wrestlemania 32 which might works because the feeling is that there’s no one else on the roster that can help fill to the Cena void as of right now.
