The teasers around his return have been a constant thing over a past few months. Last January, the franchise of WWE had undergone surgery which kept him shelved since then and for the first time ever since Wrestlemania 21, speculation-wise the cornerstone of WWE will not be at the grandest event in all of the sports entertainment.
John Cena, the man himself posted several tweets for the three months span regarding his return.
The Cenation leader has been training and rehabbing his shoulder hard by his own admission and so the speculations around him keep going that he will appear on Sunday’s mega-event in some sort of capacity for sure. In a recent appearance on Fox 411 to promote this new show ‘American Hustle’, Cena gave a response when asked about his return. He said he is feeling pretty darn good after having over 400 hours of physical therapy and his ultimate goal is to be back in the ring.
John Cena added that the doctors will re-evaluate him anytime soon and he has to go with some “sweet talking” with them until they clear him to compete him inside the ring. It was reported recently that Cena’s return has been pushed back by another few months and is in July, tentatively.
When he was asked about his confirmation of appearance at Wrestlemania, he dodged the question by saying that the event will be spectacular and he believes more than 100,000 fans will be in AT&T Stadium to see what he think is the greatest show on earth. PWInsider has reported recently that Cena will be present there to interfere one of the matches or in any certain capacity. Though, the concrete status of him being present is unknown.
