Cora Jade is mostly known for her dedication toward professional wrestling who entered the wrestling circuit following the likes of AJ Lee. The former WWE Divas Champion had a tremendous influence on the newbie who has been touted to be one of the brightest female talents of the NXT roster, as well. So, it did raise eyebrows as to why WWE is keeping her away from TV for such a long time.

It’s been quite some time since we spotted Cora Jade on WWE NXT programming. Her last match took place on the July 25th episode when she triumphed over Dana Brooke in a solid kendo stick showdown. While the wrestling world eagerly awaits her return to the ring, she is keeping her fans entertained through social media posts, only.

Ringside News recently reached out to ask about the current status of Cora Jade in the WWE and whether there are any plans to call her up to the WWE main roster. A tenured member of the creative team told the source that there is, “nothing to discuss yet” about the former tag team champion’s return to WWE programming.

Cora Jade is seemingly not keen on going back to WWE NXT

Cora Jade has reacted negatively to recent posts from her fans who miss her seeing on NXT TV and it wasn’t due to the fact that she is main roster-bound. She is a mega star power for the future, but her call-up is not imminent and no update is available regarding her beau Bron Breakker’s call-up to the main roster, as well.

It should be noted how Cora Jade cleaned out her locker and walked out of NXT on the August 1 episode of the show, following her loss to Dana Brooke. The 22-year-old also stated that she was “sick” of NXT. She threw fan mail all over the locker room before informing her colleagues about her upcoming absence.

Fans quickly noticed that she was flaunting her newly adopted body through a surgical procedure which was the reported reason behind her absence from in-ring competition. But it’s been a long time since then and that surgery shouldn’t be considered the hindrance behind her WWE return. For the time being, we have to wait if there’s any update from WWE’s side regarding the promising star’s impending comeback.
