For a month or so, rumors have been flying around claiming that high-flying John Morrison is coming back to the WWE.

The charismatic superstar has enjoyed a longer stint around the indie circuit ever since leaving the big league in 2011. He may be coming back to where he belongs after a long time but that remains wild speculation, as of now.

Dolph Ziggler, his good friend, and a veteran WWE superstar recently discussed the ongoing speculation. The news of John Morrison potentially re-signing with WWE broke out in September.

Sasha Banks not bothered about Wrestlemania main event?

A number of outlets claimed that both parties have come to an agreement to go forward with the deal. But then he’d put a tweet to wipe out the chances, altogether.

Having a conversation with talkSport, Dolph Ziggler claimed that he keeps hearing people talk about the rumor of John Morrison returning to WWE.

In fact, Morrison himself continues joking about it that he may be joining the Vince McMahon owned company. However, the truth remains unknown to the show-off,

“He’s a friend of mine and I was doing him a favor. He keeps it under his coat about what he’s doing but for three years he’s been telling me he’s coming back!

So, I don’t know if he’s messing with me or what so I stopped asking him. I hope he comes back. It’s been a really long time, it’ll be so refreshing to see him.

He and I 10 years ago on these overseas tours, we’d either start the show or wrestle before the intermission, the first-half main event, where we were given free reign to tear it down and have a blast. Hopefully, he’s back soon, I don’t know.” (courtesy sescoops.com)

As of this writing, no confirmations have been made on the part of John Morrison or WWE about any signing.

It will be entertaining to see this man back on the scene who brings the incredible moves inside the ring. But a previous creative dispute might have left some bad blood that is yet to be removed.

We’ll wait and see whether the former WWE Intercontinental Champion and multiple-time WWE Tag Team Champion decides to come back or that remains as a rumor, only.
