This woman was handpicked by the chairman himself who went straight into the championship picture right after the main roster entry. – Lacey Evans was born with the real name of Estrella-Kadlec (Later – Macey Evans) in Georgia on March 24, 1990. As per ESPN reports, she was “raised in a home torn by depression and drug and alcohol abuse.” She had a tough upbringing where she often lived in tents at times while growing up due to her parents’ legal problems. Her father never acted on thoughts of becoming a wrestler and then died due to drug overdose before she got her WWE tryout.
– Wrestling wasn’t the primary career choice for Lacey Evans as she joined Marine as a military police officer with Special Reaction Team and became a veteran. She was enlisted at the age of 19 and served for five years, earning a bachelor’s degree. She started a construction business while being on active duty. While still being in the Marines, she was brought to the world of professional wrestling through a Staff Sergeant who promoted independent shows. On the second show of which Lacey attended, the Staff Sergeant booked her in an intergender match against himself.
– Still known as Estrella-Kadlec, Lacey Evans trained by Tom Caiazzo at the American Premier Wrestling training facility in Statesboro, Georgia. She debuted for the promotion in 2014 and later went on to win the company’s World Heavyweight Championship.
– On April 12, 2016, Estrella-Kadlec signed a WWE contract. She made her wrestling debut under the same name at a house show, on October 20. In 2017, her ring name was changed to Lacey Evans which is her sister’s maiden name.
– That same year in July, she competed in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament by defeating Taynara Conti in the first round. She then lost to Toni Storm in the second round.
– Shortly after that, Lacey Evans became a regular name on NXT who used to portray a heel character. Her most memorable feud came against Mae Young Classic tournament winner, Kairi Sane.

– Lacey Evans was drafted to the Raw brand as part of the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up and received her first feud on the main roster in the form of the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. While she lost the Raw Women’s Title opportunity against Lynch at Money In The Bank 2019, her Women’s Right helped Charlotte Flair win the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Lynch.
– Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin challenged Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins for their respective titles in the Last Chance Winner Takes All Mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules 2019, where they failed to win the match and thereby ending her feud with Lynch. But Evans received the accolade of main-eventing a pay-per-view event within just six months of her main roster debut.
– On October 11, WWE drafted Lacey Evans to SmackDown as part of the 2019 WWE Draft. Within three weeks, at the Crown Jewel event, Evans and Natalya became the first female wrestlers to wrestle in Saudi Arabia, where Evans came up short. This also marked a babyface turn for her.
– In personal life, Estrella-Kadlec is married to a long-time friend, Alfonso. These two also have a daughter together named Summer. The couple resides at Parris Island in South Carolina. They love farming around their garden area. Plus, Evans has also started the candle-making business, recently.
– Lacey Evans made her video game debut as part of the “Rising Stars” pack of downloadable characters for WWE 2K19. She was also available as a regular playable character in WWE 2K20.
