The connection between Lana and Liv Morgan isn’t unknown to the WWE Universe. These two are real-life buddies around whom WWE previously built up a lesbian angle on Monday Night Raw. It wasn’t dragged since WWE runs a PG program but for all the rightful reasons, the angle received all the attention from social media. Due to that some of the fans also believed that the storyline could be revived.
But that wasn’t the case as Lana was released from the WWE contract, earlier this year amid the COVID-19 related budget cuts of the WWE. Following Lana’s release, Liv Morgan sent her a bouquet of flowers and the note attached said, “You’re a star.” In reply, her buddy mentioned her as her ex and the most beautiful woman in the world.

The two then posed in bikinis on a beach to kiss each other in a controversial fashion to go back to their lesbian angle. Now they have been enjoying a vacation with WWE Superstar Aliyah also present on the scene. Lana took to Instagram to post some of the pictures from the vacation where she and Liv posed together in bikinis in a cozy way, again.
In the caption, the former Ravishing Russian professed love to the former Riott Squad member, “Love you ❤️ @yaonlylivvonce @theshoplivemore.” Liv Morgan replied with, “I love you forever.” Mandy Rose commented on the photo saying, “So cute ❤️❤️ miss u girls!!” For some obvious reason, this love chatter between the two former friends received attention from the WWE Universe.
Lana and Liv Morgan were involved in a lesbian angle
Back in January 2020, Liv Morgan crashed Lana and Bobby Lashley’s wedding with a big reveal while also professing kayfabe love for her. That was a shocking moment with no follow-up planned by the WWE creative. It only took place since the Paul Heyman-led creative team wanted to boost up viewership on Raw with some attention-seeking storyline.
Speaking in an interview with Inside The Ropes, Liv Morgan wanted to revisit that angle with Lana which isn’t possible, for now,
“Me personally, I would love to touch on that story again, because I think it’s so important just to show not different people but, you know, ‘Hey, maybe I love this girl,’ you know, like, I think it’s important just to show that. But I don’t think you ever can ever say never in WWE. I think anything and everything is open to being visited again. Is that happening? I have no idea. But would I like it? For sure. But it was a very crazy experience.”
