Following the recent trends of active and alumni WWE roster members, Lana decided to become a brunette. She dropped the usual blonde look which is similar to the likes of Mandy Rose, former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly, Tenille Dashwood (fka Emma or Emmalina), and more. It appears that she is utilizing the opportunity after being left out by the WWE as this change in looks won’t cause a big problem.
Just a couple of days ago, Lana shared several close-up videos of her new look via Instagram Stories. It appears that the look change was caused by a future appearance in an audition for a movie or TV show, as one of her captions asked fans to guess what she could possibly be auditioning for.

After being released by the WWE, earlier this year due to COVID-19 related budget cuts, Lana made her maiden non-WWE appearance during the Legends of the Ring convention in Iselin, New Jersey on October 2. As her 90-day non-compete clause expired on Tuesday, August 31, she was also announced to appear in “The Surreal Life” on VH1.

Earlier this year, MTV Entertainment announced that the iconic “Surreal Life” series will return this fall on VH1, restructured for new audiences after a hiatus of 15 years. This new season will feature 8 celebrities coming together for a “wild, over-the-top journey that pushes them to reveal different sides of themselves in surprising ways.” Apart from Lana, Dennis Rodman, Stormy Daniels, Manny MUA, August Alsina, Tamar Braxton, Kim Coles, and Frankie Muniz will also be starring in it.
The Ravishing Russian was with the WWE since 2013 before getting released on June 2nd of this year. Now she is a free agent who is yet to be signed with any wrestling promotion. Rumors are here for her to join All Elite Wrestling since her husband Miro is also under the same banner.
Lana crossed paths with AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara at the Legends of the Ring convention in New Jersey to accuse him of cheating during his title match win against Miro. She was also asked about potentially joining AEW as she continued to tease about the same,
