Lana is someone who has been a regular name on WWE Women’s Division for the past seven years. Initially, she entered just as the manager of her husband, former WWE Superstar Rusev. But over time, she managed to convert herself into an in-ring performer. Although, WWE never portrayed her as a legit performer, ever, her will to become a champion never stopped.
Now, a legendary name praised her work ethics, so much. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, aka Bubba Ray Dudley, is more than impressed with Lana’s transformation from a valet to an in-ring competitor. She put on efforts that have been visible and the ten-time tag champ could not unsee it.
While talking about Lana’s victory over Nia Jax in a Tables Match on RAW, Ray mentioned on Busted Open Radio Podcast that Lana deserves a lot of credit for investing time and passion in this profession.
“She invests time in her profession,” said Ray [h/t/ WrestleZone]. “She goes out there, she’s never boo-boo faced about anything, she’s taking powerbombs by Nia Jax, and she’s still getting up. She’s selling, she’s registering, her facials are great. Bravo Lana, you did this the right way.”
Bubba Ray also went into detail on how Lana has been showing professionalism. At least, there’s no doubt about her trying the very best, every time she goes out there.
“She is a complete pro. I see that woman trying as hard as she can every single time she goes out there. Lana’s not Charlotte and she’s not Sasha, and she’s not Bayley, yada yada we get it. But I’ll be damned if that girl doesn’t go out there and give it her all and try her hardest. I know she goes down and she rolls around with Nattie [Neidhart] and TJ [Wilson]’s place down there. Lana put Nia Jax through a table on Raw
Ray concluded by saying that the blonde-head Diva is most likely “tougher than anybody else” on the WWE roster. For several months now, Nia Jax and Lana have been feuding on Monday Night RAW in a so-called bullying storyline. It usually involved Jax putting her adversary through the announcer’s table, every week on the weekly show.
As seen on this past episode of RAW, Lana and Nia Jax squared off in a Tables match. During the match, Jax missed a leg drop on the apron and landed heard. After this, she screamed, ”my hole” in agony which has become viral on the internet. After this, Lana pushed Jax through a table that was at ringside and picked up a clean win over Jax. Thus, she was able to seek revenge on Jax after months of torture.
