The response from the audience is not that good when it comes to the storyline featuring Bobby Lashley and Lana. Starting from the go-home edition of Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event, these two entered in a strange angle which saw Lana distancing herself from her real-life husband, Rusev. An adultery relationship began thereafter between the two of them.

Lashley received death threats for dating Lana

As seen on multiple occasions on Monday Night RAW, Lana and Bobby Lashley have had quite a few make-out sessions on the show that the WWE fans did not like. Now reports claim that Lana is not either comfortable featuring in this angle. But she does not have any other choice but to do it in order to return to TV.

A report from Brad Shepard claimed that Lana is not at all feeling well while playing the girlfriend role of Bobby Lashley. But she had to agree for it or else WWE did not have any other idea to bring her back on TV as a wrestler. The outcome of the storyline was also disclosed by the source where it’s inevitable that Lana will go back to Rusev, being the wife,

“A source in WWE told me that Lana was easily the most uncomfortable with this entire storyline. However, it’s either that or sit at home.

Apparently the idea is for Rusev and Lana to eventually reunite. How heartwarming.”

Meanwhile, this past edition of WWE Raw witnessed the fans literally hijacking the show while Lana was delivering her fake impregnation speech. They chanted “boring” during the entire segment.

According to Wrestlingnews.co, Vince McMahon got a ‘kick out of this response’ from fans. He thinks that it will only be going to grow Lashley as a heel character. And hence, they won’t be putting an end to the ongoing storyline, soon,

“A source told me that [Vince] McMahon gets a kick out of the storyline and feels that the negative reaction is just getting more heat on Lashley. Another thing that is being seen as a positive about this angle is the YouTube numbers.

Although YouTube doesn’t bring in anything close to the TV revenue, the YouTube numbers are included in the social media stats that they use in their quarterly reports so anything that can boost their stats is something that is welcomed by McMahon.”
