Away from WWE television, Lana is spending some family time with her near and dear ones for the past couple of months. Despite being one of the most popular superstars of this generation, she was, unfortunately, let go of the WWE roster under the company’s cost-cutting process. The process of entertaining her fans is still going on under the name of CJ Perry on social media, though.
Lana has always been an active name on social media and she is living up to her fame. It appeared that she was having a domestic time, recently while gardening for her home but then it turned out to be a photoshoot as she was doing so in skimpy bikini attire. Lana is currently a free agent
Lana was released as a part of WWE’s budget cuts on June 2. She already became a free agent after her 90-day non-compete clause ran out on Tuesday, August 31. Regarding that release, she noted that she cried after she got the call from WWE senior of Talent Relations, Johnny Laurinaitis while her husband, current AEW TNT Champion Miro, did cartwheels. He was also released last year by the WWE.
Under the name of CJ Perry, Lana is scheduled to make her first post-WWE appearance in October, according to PWInsider. She will appear at the Legends of the Ring convention in Iselin, New Jersey on October 2. Also, she has been announced for “The Surreal Life” on VH1, a reality TV show which is scheduled to premiere in the fall.
Lana is rumored to be joining the All Elite Wrestling promotion since her husband is having a wonderful time at that promotion after getting signed by Tony Khan. He has also reportedly been pulling the plugs for the company to eventually sign his wife to a contract. Even the former female WWE talent herself teased the same via an Instagram post.
