The love triangle featuring Rusev, Lana, and Bobby Lashley witnessed a big twist on Raw by the end of 2019. WWE trimmed out a very interesting angle to make the comeback of Liv Morgan, more than interesting. The WWE Universe loved the rollercoaster ride of these two with all the shenanigans around the scene.

Lana and Lashley decided to tie the knot in a scripted wedding of Monday Night Raw, but their matrimony was objected to by Lana’s “estranged lover” who was none other than Liv Morgan. The storyline drew a lot of attention as WWE brought back the lesbian aspect on TV after a long wait but the angle wasn’t dragged, thereafter.

Just before she went out to reveal herself, Liv Morgan remembered how nervous she was before making her return as part of this controversial storyline. She explained how much anticipation she felt before that appearance during an interview on WWE’s The Bump. Like anyone else, she never thought of objecting to anyone else’s wedding.

“Yeah, I was just like, ‘I have to bring it,’ you know?” Liv Morgan smiled while stating. “It was the craziest high that I’ve ever felt. My adrenaline was through the rough to where I felt nothing. Like, I was pacing, pacing, pacing, and I was driving myself crazy. Right before I was about to go out, my body was just overwhelmed with ease. I never thought that I would object to a wedding.”

Paul Heyman used to be the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw, back then who had a ton of faith on Liv Morgan. He wanted her to spread wings on the female roster following that comeback. The process came to a halt after Heyman was fired from his position.

The Riott Squad is now back together as Liv Morgan has reunited with Ruby Riott on SmackDown following the Draft 2020 edition. The duo is celebrating the three-year anniversary of their formation sans Sarah Logan who is no longer with the company and decided to shift her focus to motherhood with WWE Superstar Erik of The Viking Raiders.

Liv Morgan says she is very fortunate to be part of such a nurturing group. She and Riott are thrilled that they’ve been given a second chance to revive their opportunity. They can now chase down all their dreams and aspirations they had since their first arrival in the scene in 2017.

“I can’t talk about The Riott Squad without getting emotional; they just changed my life,” she said, trying to hold back tears. “I wasn’t really friends with Ruby or Sarah before we got put together. I found out that I was in the group, and I was just so happy to get the opportunity but I was kind of like, you know, I didn’t see myself as a tag team partner. These girls had a history together – they’ve been best friends for 10 years. I was happy, but I just didn’t know them that well.”

Liv Morgan is also thankful to receive her own Chronicle episode on the WWE Network. Now she is focused on taking her career to new heights in the near future. Perhaps, that journey had begun as part of Team SmackDown during the traditional 5-on-5 Women’s Survivor Series match in 2020.
