WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan is enjoying her days as the champion since July 2 i.e. Money in the Bank 2022. Initially, she was supposed to have a short and filler title reign but that was extended in due course. She had just gone through a successful title defense against Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales,
This bygone match over the weekend was the first time that she pinned someone in a clean way to retain her title on TV. Besides Liv Morgan also believes that this match was “probably the hardest match of my whole entire life.”
“Shayna hits so damn hard, The Miracle told in an interview with BT Sport. “She brought her ‘A’ game, so I was just happy and emotional just to keep this, and also just to have the opportunity; the crowd, the electricity, it felt so momentous, it just touched me.”

Liv Morgan has lately been working with MMA stars
Liv Morgan has been involved in a feud with Ronda Rousey in the summer before moving on to the latter’s best friend in the form of the former NXT Women’s Champion Baszler. “I prepared for this … thought that anything she threw at me I’d kind of be ready for, but she also had a few tricks up her sleeve,” Liv Morgan said. “Like I said, the hardest I’ve ever been hit in my whole entire life, so I am just glad that this is still mine and I got the job done.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
In the co-main event of WWE SummerSlam 2022, Liv Morgan retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey. The finish of this match was controversial as Ronda had Liv trapped in the Armbar submission but due to Ronda’s shoulders being on the mat, the referee began counting on Liv’s favor and he never saw that Liv was tapping out.
Thus, Liv Morgan was awarded the victory via pinfall. During the interview, the champion reflected on her thoughts on that win and mentioned that she knew WWE Universe was going to boo her after what transpired. But at the end of the day, she’s living her dreams to be a champion, after all, and she’s happy with it.
