Lyra Valkyria has long been hunted by the newly turned heel Roxanne Perez who is trying to build a new persona at the expense of the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. At the upcoming NXT premium live event set for this weekend, the two will collide for the NXT Women’s Championship, and following the latest episode of NXT, the champion will have the advantage.
On the April 2 episode of NXT, Sueprnova Sessions talk show took place with guests Roxanne Perez and NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. The two rivals argued back and forth before Valkyria stated that Perez would have a whole lot to bi**h about at Stand & Deliver.

This led to a physical confrontation between the two of them where Perez decked the champion but she was instantly met with a roundhouse kick. Lyra Valkyria then put Perez through a coffee table with a Death Valley Driver. The UK-born star stood tall to send a message that she will put up the fight of her life to retain her title at Stand and Deliver.

Roxanne Perez got an opportunity to Lyra Valkyria’s NXT Women’s Title
A few weeks ago, Perez defeated Tatum Paxley after locking in the cross-face submission hold. After the match, Perez wanted the NXT General Manager Ava to answer her plea and make her the challenger for the NXT Women’s championship at NXT Stand and Deliver 2024.
NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria came out and the two got into a brawl. The Prodigy stood tall by taking advantage of the injured arm of her adversary. After this segment, Ava met Valkyria in the backstage area where she again met with the same demand, and the title match was eventually made official at NXT Stand and Deliver 2024.
