Major Update On John Cena Returning To WWE In 2021 Summer

John Cena may very well be back in the WWE after ending more than a one-year gap. Rumors about the former franchise player of the WWE have been pretty much rife for the past few weeks. It has to do something with the end of his filming schedule in Vancouver, British Columbia. Plus, the return of the fans in WWE shows could also eventually coincide with this comeback.

WWE’s return to the road in July, beginning with Money In the Bank Weekend could bring back John Cena to WWE shows as an update provided by F4Wonline.com mentions that this return is still being discussed for the first show back with fans in the crowd.

That being said, the legendary superstar could welcome the fans starting from the July 16 edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX, airing live from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.

“Regarding talk of John Cena being on the first WWE show back with fans on 7/16, I was told that this is still being discussed.”

The July 16th SmackDown is the go-home episode before Money In The Bank pay-per-view. It was not informed whether the returnee will be there to get involved in the pay-per-view. This should just be a one-off appearance as he will have to be in-ring ready to get back to action. Per WWE’s guidelines, he also has to be medically cleared by the company’s team.

John Cena is the most perfect name to welcome the fans back to WWE events as the company kicks off a new chapter in their history.
