Mandy Rose had to wait a long time to make it to the top of the women’s division in the WWE. It didn’t happen in the main roster despite her time there for almost four long years. Eventually, she was sent back to the developmental territory of NXT and that move worked wonders for her career. With Toxic Attraction watching her back, there’s nobody stopping her from taking back the NXT Women’s Championship.

Former WWE Official Sonya Deville believes that Mandy Rose is “absolutely killing it” with her work since becoming an NXT 2.0 superstar from a superstar of Monday Night Raw. For those who don’t know, Rose and Deville are legitimate best friends in real life who also used to be former tag team partners on WWE TV.

Their relationship ended in a bad way on TV as they became rivals in WWE. However, the real-life bond between the two is very much intact. The former Absolution member recently told the “Under The Ring” podcast that Mandy Rose “looks like a star” right now. She is the current NXT Women’s Champion and in that role, the former Golden Goddess is excelling each week.

“I love just seeing someone come into their prime and come into their own … She went down there and she took an opportunity and made the absolute most out of it. She’s a star, she looks like a star. She’s getting the reps down there and she’s just killing it,” Deville said.

Mandy Rose is a role model for NXT 2.0 Women’s division?

Mandy Rose won the title, the first championship win of her career at Halloween Havoc 2021. Since then, she has defended it several times and stretched her title reign to 215+ days and counting. With WWE NXT 2.0 renovation fully intact, Deville believes that her best buddy could be a good role model for many younger wrestlers. She also believes that Rose is “what a Woman’s Champion can look like.”

“We all are so different, we bring such different things to the table, and Mandy is just very talented in a lot of ways,” she said. “And admirable as a person as well, her work ethic and what she puts into this. So, it’s super cool to see her kind of flourishing … Mandy’s killing it,” Deville added.

While Mandy Rose will continue to be the top figure of the NXT Women’s division, Deville has recently become a full-time in-ring talent after her run as the authority figure on WWE Raw and SmackDown is over for misuse of power. Before that, she ended a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match against Rose at Summerslam 2020 in her last prominent feud.
