Maria Kanellis is no more present in WWE after having a failed tenure for the past few years. She may haven’t had the honor of capturing the Women’s or Divas Championships in her career but she certainly built a spot for herself where she can call herself the ‘First Lady’ of the professional wrestling circuit.
The last Playboy Cover Girl in the WWE was often helmed by the fans as the most gorgeous superstar to step foot inside the squared circle. This was due to her possessing a killer body all the way from the Diva Search days in 2004. But Maria Kanellis had become a mother, twice to lose that shape. But the hard-works and determinations are still the same.

Maria Kanellis Shares Photos With Abs Back After Pregnancy
As seen on Instagram, Maria Kanellis gave a sneak peek at her latest shape and she looks amazing. Those abs are back in place which perhaps means that she still has the intention to return to in-ring competition. But she wanted to spread a message on how her body endured a lot in the past few years,
“16 years, 2 babies, 40-pound weight gain and loss, stretch marks, the bumps, and all the bullshit… this body has endured… I have endured. I can, I will FIGHT.”
Ring of Honor announced on December 20, 2020, that Maria Kanellis has returned to the promotion, where she previously worked from 2011 until 2015. Her husband Mike was already performing under the ROH banner one month prior to that. In a video through social media, Kanellis announced The Experience, a Facebook group where fans will be able to make their voice heard from 2021 January.
Maria Kanellis, and her husband, Mike Bennett, were released from WWE in April of this year because of business cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two had reportedly re-signed with the company in June of 2019, for five years, but the pandemic caused their departure.
Kanellis said that one of the reasons they chose to stay was the company was willing to still sign her on as a full-time talent despite the information that she was looking to have another child in the future.
During an appearance on ROH String Podcast, she added that she got pregnant sooner than expected and was only at eight weeks when told that to the WWE. She apparently hoped to continue the tenure in the WWE but the company ended up releasing her.
