WWE Draft 2020 will kick off this Friday on SmackDown and end next Monday night on RAW. The company has included over 60 Superstars in this year’s Draft. There will also be a few differences between this year and last year, going by the rulebook. The listed superstars will be up for grabs during the draft, but some notable names have been excluded from the list.
Brock Lesnar hasn’t worked any WWE show since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. His talent contract with the company has expired and so did his image deal rights.

John Cena isn’t a regular name on the roster as he’s not been around for a while, and no one knows when he’d be back. So, he wasn’t included in the WWE Draft 2020 pool, just like last year.
Becky Lynch is currently out of action as she is pregnant with boyfriend Seth Rollins and due in December.
Goldberg isn’t present in the WWE Draft 2020 pool, this year. But he’s not done with WWE just yet while possessing a three-year contract that ends in 2023.
The Big Show hasn’t been inserted into the Draft pool for the past couple of years and he won’t be a part of this. He last appeared on RAW in the McIntyre-Orton championship storyline.
Edge is out of action since Backlash 2020 with a triceps injury and there’s no confirmed update on his comeback.

Samoa Joe is doing commentary on the Raw brand who’s excluded from the WWE Draft 2020 pool. However, he clarified how his in-ring career isn’t over yet.
The Forgotten Sons were taken out of TV since Jaxson Ryker’s unfortunate tweet back in the summer and they’re not a part of the Draft.
Sonya Deville came up short during a Loser Leaves WWE match at SummerSlam 2020 against Mandy Rose and WWE is still carrying that angle to keep her out of the TV.
Jinder Mahal is currently out of action with an injury and would not be a part of WWE Draft 2020.
Bo Dallas hasn’t been around since December 2019.
The Singh Brothers have reportedly been stuck in Canada since the pandemic began. Mojo Rawley was left off the WWE Draft 2020 pool for some insider reasons.
Jimmy Uso is dealing with a knee injury and he isn’t present, either. However, Jey Uso was on the list. Ivar is out of the Draft pool as well while Erik made it there. But now Erik will be out of action after going through a surgery.
It is notable that no NXT names have been included on the WWE Draft 2020 pool while RAW Underground names like Dabba-Kato and Arturo Ruas are being featured. These are the basic rules of the shake-up process as declared by WWE,
* More than 20 Superstars are eligible to be drafted on Friday night and more than 30 Superstars are eligible to be drafted on Monday night.
* Due to the length of each show, for every two picks that SmackDown selects, Raw will get three picks.
* Tag Teams will count as one pick unless FOX or USA Network, in conjunction with WWE Officials, wants to pick one Superstar from the team.
* Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.
