After the contest, Kevin Owens challenged Theory to a match with the Money in the Bank contract on the line. Theory refused to compete in it as Owens then hit him with a Stunner to end the segment.

Since WWE often tries their upcoming ideas at these non-televised Live Events before they do it on TV, it’s likely that Owens will soon challenge Theory for the MITB contract on Raw or an upcoming premium live event. It makes from the creative perspective since Theory is nowhere near becoming a world champion in the WWE.
Besides, Vince McMahon is no longer being in charge of the WWE creative team and the new Head Of Creative Triple H might have already been cooled down over Theory’s mega push. But he’s likely giving a major push to Kevin Owens and hence, chances are there that a new Mr. Money In The Bank will soon be crowned.
As noted above, there have been instances where the winner failed to win the Title during his Money in the Bank cash-in attempt (like John Cena, Baron Corbin, or Braun Strowman) while some can also lose the contract to some other wrestlers (as Mr. Kennedy lost to Edge, Otis lost to The Miz).
