It’s no secret that Nikki Bella wants to make a comeback to the professional wrestling ring, sometimes down the road. She alongside Brie Bella opened up about it on a number of occasions in the recent past. They do believe in having one last run remaining in them as a pair. WWE could also benefit a lot from their run given their mainstream popularity.
Considering Nikki Bella and twin sister Brie announced retirement before WWE introduced Women’s Tag Team Titles, it’s obvious that the duo would want to come back and challenge for the new straps. These are the only golds that the two pioneers have never achieved.
“I talked to Brie about this on the daily. I look at Tamina and I look at Natalya and I see them hold those tag team championships and there’s nothing more that I want than to come back for that,” Nikki Bella told Extra affirming that the time for one last run isn’t over. “I truly hope that in the future I can come back in that ring and compete. Compete in front of my son! He would sit front row. It would be a dream. It’s not over for the Bella Twins. We will come back and make our mark.”
Nikki Bella featured in one last stint for WWE back in 2018. Her last match took place at Evolution PPV event in a failed effort against Ronda Rousey to win the Raw Women’s Title. Since then, she became engaged to her Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev and they probably hope to tie the knot this fall during the Thanksgiving weekend.

The two welcomed their only child, Matteo, who Nikki Bella believes to move into her father’s profession when he grows up.
“I feel like he thinks our family is just made up of ballroom dancers. He points his toes better than Mom. He going to be more graceful than Mom. Artem’s always like, ‘Yes! That’s my son! He points his toes so good.’ I think I’m just part of family full of dancers.”
Before moving in with Artem, Nikki Bella was in a high-profile relationship with John Cena. They began dating in 2012 and were engaged to be married at WrestleMania 33. But the couple called off the engagement just a year later and went their separate ways. Just like the elder Bella, Cena is also hitched up to Shay Shariatzadeh.

Regardless of what happened between them, Nikki Bella has publicly said that she’s still on good terms with John Cena. There was a possibility that the two could come into one frame at the bygone SummerSlam event. But that didn’t happen as Bella was banned from attending the show. She also didn’t watch her ex-boyfriend’s main-event match. It appears that she was too busy in casinos.
