The latest addition to the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 is Von Wagner who has punched his ticket to a championship match. The resident heel from the NXT roster picked up a win over Andre Chase to qualify for the North American Championship Ladder Match set for the latest upcoming NXT PLE.
During last night’s NXT season premiere, a quick match took place that lasted less than four minutes where Wagner defeated Chase with a Death Valley Driver for the pin-fall win. This happened despite the interferences made by Mr. Stone or Thea hail at the ringside area.
WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2022: Ambulance Match Announced With Added Stipulations
By virtue of the win, Wagner will join Carmelo Hayes, Wes Lee, Oro Mensah, and either Nathan Frazer or Axiom in the fatal-5-way ladder match set for NXT Halloween Havoc 2022. Hayes and Lee made their presence felt after the singles match encounter by ensuing a brawl at the ringside area. This will probably set up a future match between the two of them.
Ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc 2022, only one spot is left to fill for the Ladder Match that will be filled by the Frazer vs. Axiom match, which will be the third bout in their ongoing best-of-three series. This match has been announced for next week’s NXT episode, with the winner qualifying for the championship match. Both the high-flying superstars won one match each to set up next week’s rubber match.
WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 PLE Match Card
Unlike the past couple of years, NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 will be presented as a premium live event, this year rather than a weekly episode. The WWE Specials will take place Saturday, October 22 and it will air, live on Peacock and WWE Network. The updated match card for the night following this week’s NXT goes as follows,
– Unified NXT Championship Triple Threat Match: Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. JD McDonagh
– NXT North American Championship Ladder Match: Carmelo Hayes vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee vs. Von Wagner vs. Axiom or Nathan Frazer
– Weapons Wild Match: Cora Jade vs. Roxanne Perez
– Ambulance Match: Julius Creed vs. Damon Kemp
If Julius loses, Brutus Creed will have to leave NXT
