The neck injury and retirement of Paige from ring competition is a well-documented thing in the WWE. She’s one of the most popular female superstars and reality TV stars of this generation which forces the fans to miss her presence on TV. It’s been more than two years since she was presented on any live WWE TV programming.
The good thing is that Paige could still return to action given that she follows the path of two WWE Hall of Famers in Stone Cold Steve Austin and Edge. Both these men dealt with similar kinds of neck injuries but they eventually made a return to in-ring action to send the fans into a frenzy. However, not everyone seems to be thrilled with those returns.

Recently, a pro-wrestling fan mentioned both Stone Cold and Edge as greedy human beings, possibly for stealing the spotlight when they could’ve simply stayed retired. Paige saw the fan’s tweet and couldn’t help but rip off the fan. She stated that the two veterans are simply trying to inspire young talents instead,
“I think you meant *inspires younger superstars* you f****** idiot.”

Paige inspired by WWE Legends who set examples
Stone Cold Steve Austin‘s influence on the pro wrestling world doesn’t need any special mention. He has done a lot for the business and he simply is someone who put the WWE on a global map by featuring on TV during the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era. Edge is also one of the most trusted shoulders for the WWE who has seen it all as a professional wrestler.
As for Paige, we expect her to set an example of her own in the coming days. One fan recently noted on Twitter that she has not appeared on WWE television for over 750 days and this fact literally amazed her. There’s hope that she would soon be back inside the squared circle, setting an example of her own.
Recently, an image started circulating on social media that showed that Paige was moved to the ‘current’ section of the WWE roster from the ‘Alumni’ section. Fans reacted to this move in a big way as they are considering this to be an indication of a possible return. No detailed update is available regarding this matter, as of this writing.
