There have been some speculations about Paige possibly coming back to action after the likes of Daniel Bryan or Edge had returned to action from a similar injury. Over the past couple of years, she is said to have gained back strength in her neck. Now, it’s been further notified that the news is true as she could expect to be back in wrestling although it’s a long process.
Paige has provided a bright update on her career-ending neck injury via her social media page. By the end of last week, she informed fans via Twitter that she’s able to squat 185 lbs again and that her “neck is feeling so awesome.” You can check out the full tweet posted by her,
“You guys I’m getting stronger. squatting 185lbs again. I know it’s not a ton but it’s a big accomplishment for me who was worried to do any gym stuff because of my neck. But my neck is feeling so awesome. I’m so proud of myself.”

Paige is giving hope on her in-ring return
The tweet sent the former Divas Champion’s huge fanbase to a frenzy since it appeared to be an encouraging one. Plus, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix congratulated Paige on her progress. Also, the current WWE roster members Zelina Vega, RAW Women’s Champion Nikki Cross A.S.H., and Bronson Reed also sent out praising tweets to the popular superstar.

Earlier this year, Paige reacted on a segment from Smackdown where Daniel Bryan and Edge featured in a frame, hoping for a singles contest. Then the anti-Diva mentioned in a tweet as she hoped to follow in the footsteps of the two veteran superstars, who overcame the odds of a neck injury and returned to in-ring competition.
Paige, age 28, was forced to retire in 2018 after suffering a career-ending neck injury during a house show. In a tag team match, Sasha Banks accidentally hit her on the back of the neck, forcing her to collapse. That was the end of her wrestling career which started all the way back at an age of 13.
It appears that wrestling at a tender age turned out to be fatal for the UK Superstar. But Paige is still very young who is also under contract with the WWE. So we can’t yet just rule out a return for her in the near future.
