Almost four years have passed by since we have seen Paige competing inside the squared circle. But without a doubt, she remains one of the most accomplished in-ring competitors in the history of the WWE and hence a global fanbase also follows her on social media. They could be happy after getting the hint of another return from the superstar herself.
The second-generation superstar is thinking about a potential return even after being on a hiatus for four years and she also expressed her view on social media. Paige recently hinted at a potential in-ring return while responding to a fan on Twitter.

Paige has high hopes about coming back to competition
This isn’t the first time that Paige has expressed hope about one day returning to in-ring competition. Earlier this year, she was rumored to be making a return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match which was a star-studded one. But that remained as only a wild rumor. She also teased a return to wrestling back in October 2021 that came just a month after declaring that she wasn’t done with wrestling.
Even though WWE fans are having high hopes about Paige possibly coming back to action at some point. It may not necessarily happen in a WWE ring. It should be noted that her contract with WWE has already expired and she was subsequently released. No confirmation is available on whether she and the company have agreed to terms on a new deal. For the time being, she remains a free agent.
Paige officially retired from in-ring competition via a speech the night after WrestleMania 34 due to a neck injury. She dealt with it for the entire of 2016 and re-aggravated it in December of 2017 in a house show tag team match. WWE would then appoint her as the Smackdown General Manager throughout 2018 who later managed the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. Plus, she also appeared on WWE Backstage from 2019 till the program was canceled in 2020.
