As seen on these past episodes of WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, the buildups for Survivor Series has already begun. For the first time in the history of the show, we will be having NXT involved in it.
Revealed: Brock Lesnar salary for Crown Jewel
As a result, the black and yellow brand members have made their presence felt on the main roster. They decided to invade both the shows comprising the main roster superstars and thereby fired shots at them.
WWE to return to Saudi Arabia during this time
As reported by Slice Wrestling, WWE wanted this invasion angle by the NXT superstars to happen, for quite sometimes. Now the timing seemed absolutely right as NXT airs on the same network like Monday Night Raw that is on the USA Network.
This is a desperate effort by the WWE officials to portray NXT as the 3rd brand of the company. They want NXT to ‘shed the old notion of being a “Developmental” brand.’
The source also noted for the buildups of Survivor Series projecting something big. As of now, the plan is that RAW, SmackDown and NXT Stars will invade their respective opposing brands. Since NXT has already trespassed to Raw and SmackDown, it is turn for the two main rosters to invade NXT and then each other’s shows,
• RAW & SmackDown Stars will bring the war to NXT invading Full Sail University.
• RAW & SmackDown Stars will invade each other’s brands.
• NXT Stars will invade RAW & SmackDown.
Triple H is personally vested into this whole Survivor Series program. Vince McMahon has also agreed with him on this that will raise the status of NXT, moving forward. He will be balancing the wins/losses between RAW, SmackDown and NXT on the pay-per-view night.
But most importantly, NXT will get some mainstream attention via this angle. This, in turn, will help boost NXT Television ratings in their “Wednesday Night War” with AEW.
Survivor Series takes place at the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois on November, 24th. The current lineup for the PPV stand as given below,
