In a surprising turn of events, WWE Raw did not witness the two main-eventers of Hell in a Cell. Both Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt were not present on the show that took place in Bakersfield, California. Reports are available on why this could potentially happen. One of them might have suffered an injury whereas the other one had to escape the insane boos from the crowd.

WWE Hell In A Cell Results: Seth Rollins Vs. Bray Wyatt Universal Title Match
According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Bray Wyatt is dealing with an injury and hence did not appear on WWE Raw. On the other hand, Seth Rollins had to escape the insane boos of the fans after the massacre that Hell in a Cell main event has been. The audience fully turned on the babyface champion that could harm his status. Hence it was a smart decision to keep him out from live TV.
The disastrous finish of Hell in a Cell main event signified the failure of the entire pay-per-view. Fans were irate about the fact that The Fiend Bray Wyatt was not able to become the new WWE Universal Champion. Thereby, the lackluster title run of the current champion continued. A babyface champion thus became a villain for the fans.
This was for the first time that the fans witnessed a finish in a Hell in a Cell match via disqualification which is contested under No Disqualifications rule, itself. So it was a horrible booking from the creative team that was the primary reason for the fans becoming angry. Later, WWE tried to cover up the situation mentioning that it did not have a DQ-end. Rather it was a ‘referee stoppage’.

Bur that was not enough to satisfy the fans. They needed something special on WWE Raw that could turn back things in WWE’s favor. The huge brawl between Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman was able to provide some distraction for the fans, for now. This allowed the officials to keep Seth Rollins, the prime champion of WWE Raw away from the show and thereby protect him from getting booed by the fans. Hopefully, he will be back on next week’s episode.
