Renee Young was a path-breaker in WWE
Renee Young explored several on-air opportunities within the WWE during her heyday. Starting as a backstage interviewer with NXT, she became a mainstay name on Raw and Smackdown programming. Plus, her popularity forced WWE to eventually make her the first woman to call the action on Monday Night RAW as a commentator.
Besides, she regularly hosted a variety of pay-per-view kick-offs and WWE Network programming. Plus, WWE also selected her for a season of Total Divas on the E Network. That being said, Renee Young is grateful to the company for those opportunities and hence she would like to make periodic returns if needed.
During an exclusive Wrestling Inc. interview, Renee Young clarified that “There’s no ill-will or bad blood or anything like that” between the two parties. As for the departure, the newly become Brunett noted the following,
“It was time for me to move on, time for me to start doing some new things. Within that time, [I] made a baby and got ‘Oral Sessions’ up and running,” she said, mentioning her successful podcast. “A couple other things I’ve got on the back burner slowly moving toward the front burner — the burner we all like to use.”
