WWE is likely to make the Wrestlemania season more exciting, starting from Sunday on January 24th from Orlando, Florida. Some huge title matches were confirmed for the event. Let’s have a look at the matches.
Tag team championship: The New Day vs. The Usos
The New Day is on a roll as of late and nobody in the tag team division can match up to their charisma until The Usos arrived in the picture since their return. The current champions who are on a hot streak are all set to defend the tag titles on the Royal Rumble event against the Samoan blood. Kofi, Big E and Xavier Woods bring a lot to the table in the form of promo skills and wrestling ability but The Usos were the tag team of the year for 2015 and undoubtedly became veterans in the business, over the years. It will be interesting to see who the WWE Creative decides to carry the tag team title around.
US championship: Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto
Another exciting match would see two Mexicans i.e. Alberto Del Rio would defend his United States title against Kalisto for the second time in a week. Kalisto had his moment when he snatched the championship but it lasted only for a while Del Rio vowed his redemption. The high-flying Kalisto had to face the odds as the League of nations members will be at ringside.
Divas championship: Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch has a proper feud going on against Charlotte and will face her for the Divas Title after coming very close a couple of times. The word proper is appropriate now because she managed to outsmart the dirty games of the Nature Boy and his daughter and earning the spot for the championship match rightfully. Now it is time to see if Becky can prove the critics wrong.
Last man standing match for Intercontinental championship: Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens
Perhaps, the most anticipated match in the event considering the main event Rumble match too. This match has all the makings of greatness and we could see some serious action from the former indy superstars. The fans love to see these two mugging each other and provided with the stipulation both of them would love to tear each other apart.
The Royal Rumble match: Roman Reigns defends against 29 other men
Against all the odds, Roman Reigns is set to defend his title against 29 other superstars and that too includes the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar. Reigns had a long storyline with the Authority and Vince McMahon quite a while now and the storyline is nicely set. Though nothing is in favor of Reigns, he tweeted this:
