Roman Reigns To Miss Various WWE TV and Live Events In 2022 Summer?

Roman Reigns has been featured in the peak form following his return to WWE during WWE SummerSlam 2020. Being the longest-reigning Universal Champion and then the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, his God-Mode has already been unleashed and who knows what more accolades are waiting for him in the near future.

With a heel shtick attached to him, Roman Reigns continues to improve as a competitor in front of fans and the undefeated streak is allowing him to become more dominant with each passing day. He recently threw a mysterious promo while claiming that he may not return to the city of Trenton, New Jersey as he’s starting a new phase in life.

Roman Reigns Confirmed To Wrestle Less Matches In WWE In 2022

Many thought that it was a hint from his side to step into the world of movies while stepping away from wrestling but in reality, he managed to grab a new deal with the WWE where the company would allow him to work on a limited schedule but he will still earn a lucrative amount.

Speaking of a limited schedule, following the June 24 taping of SmackDown, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is not being advertised on WWE’s website for any WWE TV tapings or live events for the months of July or August.

Roman Reigns advertised for two Summer WWE PLEs

As of now, The Head of the Table is currently being advertised for the Money in the Bank and SummerSlam Premium Live Events in July. MITB 2022 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 2 while The Biggest Party of the Summer will emanate from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30.

Apart from these two upcoming shows, WWE has also announced more than 30 live events as part of their summer 2022 touring schedule. But in most of those events, Roman Reigns is currently missing. The listings can be updated in due course, however.

It appears that the new deal agreement signed between WWE and Roman Reigns is already in effect where the dual champion will only choose to work on required dates. Hence, not all the announced dates will have his name as the headliner, this summer.

According to the reports of Fightful Select, Roman Reigns is not leaving WWE anytime soon. While potential Hollywood endeavors could be on the horizon, the top superstar will keep focusing on his professional wrestling career.
