Roman Reigns was back on this week’s WWE Smackdown after a week’s hiatus to take control of things on his show. Not only he forced to humble King Xavier by the end of the night but he also entertained the crowd through a match once it was over.

In the dark match of Smackdown, Drew McIntyre and The Viking Raiders – Erik and Ivar defeated The Bloodline’s SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a huge six-man tag team match. Obviously, the latter got protected during the match and one of the Usos digested the pinfall loss.

It should be noted that McIntyre has been competing against Roman Reigns and his cousins for the past couple of weeks to hint that a feud over the Universal Title might be coming up. As of now, the Universal Champion should be booked in a champion vs. champion match against WWE Champion Big E at Survivor Series 2021. Once this match is over, the new title feud might begin on Smackdown.

Roman Reigns and The Usos attacked The New Day

Roman Reigns kicked things off on this week’s Smackdown with The Usos as he cut a promo. He missed last week’s show due to a celebration over his win against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel.

Then he also pointed out that while he was gone his cousins (SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos) lost to The New Day in a non-title matchup. Roman Reigns got upset with Jimmy for digesting the pinfall loss and wanted to fix things.

The New Day came out as King Xavier proposed a match between himself and Jimmy with the stipulation being if Woods loses, he will acknowledge Roman Reigns, but if he wins then Jimmy must bend his knee to Woods.

This appeared to be the final match on TV for this week’s Smackdown where King Xavier defeated Jimmy Uso and Jimmy had to bend his knees to the winner. As he was about to do it, Roman Reigns flew into the ring and downed Xavier with a Superman Punch. Both Kofi and Xavier got triple-teamed by The Bloodline members as Roman reclaimed his Island of Relevancy.
