Last night’s SmackDown on FOX episode opened up with the reigning champion, Banks retaining her SmackDown Women’s Title over Bayley through her Bank Statement submission move. After the match, Banks was posing on the stage who didn’t realize having a target on her back.
Sasha Banks was on the stage until Carmella hit her with a sneak attack. A Superkick laid her out followed by a face-buster on the ramp. The Princess of Staten Island then posed above the champion before heading back to the backstage area. Ringside News reported that the returnee’s push would soon be “evident.” Apparently, that began on this week’s SmackDown.

With her win over former tag team partner Bayley at WWE Hell In a Cell, she has become a WWE Grand Slam Champion.
