Scarlett Bordeaux was released from the WWE in early November which turned out to be a blessing in disguise for her. She has been a busy lady since her departure. Getting rid of all the rules and regulations, she can enjoy her life, to the fullest. She has been receiving tons of independent bookings and has also even launched an OnlyFans account to offer some exclusive content to her fanbase.

Before that WWE release amid the COVID-19 budget cuts, Scarlett was taken off TV for some unknown reasons while her boyfriend Karion Kross was called to the main roster. She ultimately didn’t appear on WWE television for a while before the company let her go. An unidentified health issue was said to be bothering her a bit.

As she was dealing with that medical problem, WWE told Scarlett Bordeaux that they wanted her to be a wrestler. She said the company wanted her back in the ring once she was healthy. Then in a recent interview with Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, the former Smoke Show host had a chance to revisit the moment she and Kross realized they were no longer WWE Superstars.

“He (Killer Kross) was dropping me off at Newark airport. So we were five minutes from the airport. I was flying home two days early from visiting his family and we got the phone call. I just remember being ‘are you fu*king serious? Are you serious?’” Scarlett continued.

“It was funny because he got the call five minutes after and the first thing he says to me when he looks over is ‘thank god. Thank god it’s not just you. It’s both of us at least.’” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Scarlett, who is engaged to Karrion Kross, was signed in November 2019 and only worked as Kross’ valet on WWE NXT. She was rumored to join him on RAW, but that never happened.

As for Kross, he was signed with WWE in February of 2020 and won the NXT Championship just months later in August at NXT Takeover: XXX by defeating Keith Lee. He also won the title for the second time in 2021 but then he dropped the belt to Samoa Joe only to be called to the main roster in July 2021.
