Sin Cara comes unmasked in a match at WWE Main Event

For the Luchador wrestlers, a mask means everything. The tradition followed with the phenomenon from Rey Mysterio to now present Kalisto and Sin Cara. In the Mexican Lucha Libre competition, winning an opponents’ mask is being considered as a high accomplishment rather than winning a championship gold.
So this is considered as the most important thing in their attire and it was often seen by other wrestlers to pull off their mask in between the match as to disrespect them. This tendency is mostly seen in Alberto Del Rio in today’s wrestling. Being a Mexican wrestler, he knows what it means to unmask a fellow Mexican.

Rey Mysterio fell victim to such victims in past whereas now that tradition is being followed with Kalisto and Sin Cara. The last one mentioned recently had a match at WWE Main Event taping against the Lone Wolf, Baron Corbin.
As per reports from wrestlingINC.com, while the match was going on, Sin Cara took a backdrop and his mask came off his face, accidentally. He quickly tried to wear it back properly around his face. A fan in attendant took a photo and posted on Twitter.

Other matches that were taped for this week’s WWE Main Event were Apollo Crews vs. Viktor, Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust and Damien Sandow vs. Titus O’Neil.
Talking of Titus O’Neil, he was suspended for 60 days before returning to action only this past week. In a segment from WWE Monday Night Raw where the whole WWE universe along with the WWE roster was celebrating for a proper send-off to Daniel Bryan, he pulled none other than Vince McMahon harshly towards him when the camera was rolling.

McMahon did not take it in a god way causing an immediate exclusion for him from the roster. However, the “big deal Titus O’Neil” is back stronger than ever as a goodwill ambassador for WWE.
