Spoiler On Queen Of The Ring 2021 Tournament’s Debut Date In WWE

Per the earlier reports provided by Wrestling Inc, WWE is all set to introduce the Queen of the Ring tournament, later this year. It appears that three years after the first-ever Evolution PPV event, the company will bring something special for the female roster of the company, yet again. The timing of the tourney was apparently indicated.

WWE’s first-ever Queen of the Ring tournament is reportedly scheduled to air over RAW and SmackDown in the month of October. While Wrestling Inc exclusively brought the news of WWE having plans for the all-women’s tournament to be held this year, another source has come up with an update of when this special series dedicated to women could commence.

It was reported by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men wrestling podcast that the Queen of the Ring tournament is currently scheduled to begin on the October 8 SmackDown episode. It will then continue on the October 11 RAW episode. This means the inaugural tournament will be ongoing on WWE TV once the roster gets shaken up via the WWE Draft, a week prior.

Queen of the Ring tournament planned after WWE Draft

The proposed dates for the Queen of the Ring tournament hints that it would begin right after the WWE Draft, which is reportedly scheduled for either the October 1 SmackDown and the October 4 RAW, or the October 4 RAW and the October 8 SmackDown. These dates were also confirmed by Andrew Zarian himself in an earlier report regarding the 2021 edition of Draft.

The October 4 RAW is also scheduled to be the RAW season 30 premiere and it’s likely that the Draft will take place on October 1 and October 4, if the Queen of the Ring tournament begins on October 8. WWE is yet to confirm anything regarding this tourney as we’re still a couple of months away from this first-ever tradition as well as the draft. For now, the company is focused on carrying out a successful SummerSlam 2021 pay-per-view.

WWE holding Queen of the Ring in October makes sense as they will reportedly have an all-men show in Saudi Arabia on that month which is why the female will have to sit out of a PPV event in that month. This is the same reason why back in 2018, the company held Evolution. It appears they will be coming up with yet another consolation prize for the women instead of a PPV event in the fall of this year in the form of the female version of King of the Ring.
