Legendary Sting has not been in a wrestling ring for the past four years due to a severe concussion. He suffered a neck injury back at Night of Champions 2015 while competing in a match against Seth Rollins. But it ended in a nasty way where he almost knocked himself out following the incident. This forced the WWE doctors to declare him unfit for in-ring competition for life and thereby sending into retirement.

Why Did WWE Draft Brock Lesnar On Friday Night Smackdown?

But Sting has not fully announced retirement and recently noted he’d come back into the ring for “the right price.” There have been recent speculations that WWE may allow him to wrestle, once again for some special matches. The dream match against The Undertaker is on the list when the next Saudi Arabia PPV occurs. Additionally, The Vigilante himself expressed the desire to feature in a match against The Fiend Bray Wyatt.

The former WCW franchise took this name specifically since Bray Wyatt made it clear that he wants his shot at the wrestling legend. In a recent poll conducted by WWE on Twitter, Wyatt mentioned that he wants Sting in debut match on Monday Night Raw. This new demonic character in the WWE, today is up for big push and hence an opportunity against Sting could do special things for the direction of his character.

Sting appeared at Starrcast II and opined at which current superstars he’d like the chance to go up against. His list began with the name of The Fiend Bray Wyatt. Here are the exact statements from The Icon, (courtesy of ringsidenews.com)

“The big guys, you know like Leon White — Braun Strowman would be a good one. I’d love to have something with Braun Strowman. I think we’d have some good matches. Bray Wyatt’s another one I’d love to work with.”

This has started rumors whether these two superstars can go against each other in a dream match. The Fiend Bray Wyatt has donned “The Crow” character that Sting portrayed years ago in WCW. So this could be a fitting encounter between the two where the older one could put over the newer version. The Fiend has just started making his character strong by overpowering WWE legends. Sting can be one of them by eventually featuring in a match in case WWE doctors clear him to compete to wrestle.
