Seth Rollins may have lost his Universal Championship at Extreme Rules but his title hunt is still alive as seen on WWE Raw. In a Wrestlemania rematch, the beast-slayer will challenge the beast at Summerslam for the title. Last night’s show kicked off with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring alongside his advocate, Paul Heyman. They informed about a huge battle royal to determine Lesnar’s challenger.

Heyman confirmed a Cross-Branded Top 10 All-Star Battle Royal featuring Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Big E, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley, and Roman Reigns. The winner will get the contender’s spot. In the end, it was Seth Rollins who stood tall by eliminating Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman at the same time. Finally, Randy Orton became his victim to let win the battle royal. With this win, WWE confirmed Lesnar vs. Rollins for Summerslam main event.

The landscape of WWE Raw changed by the end of Extreme Rules via the resurface of Brock Lesnar. He appeared making Paul Heyman’s spoiler true and thereby successfully cashing in Money in the Bank briefcase. This led to the speculation of what could be the waiting next on WWE Raw in the Universal Championship picture. Brock Lesnar becoming the new title-holder would not suit well with the WWE Universe for sure. Hence, we have anticipated Seth Rollins to run after for the title, yet again trying to reclaim it. WWE took the same route by confirming the same lineup at Summerslam via this huge battle royal on WWE Raw.
