There have been constant speculations over the status of former Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard and her husband, Daga. Since last year’s summer, the two of them are no more under contract with any of the wrestling promotions after making their exit from Impact. A number of times, rumors surfaced that WWE could have potentially inserted these two on their roster. But, to date, there’s been no confirmed update on this.
Tessa Blanchard uses her social media profile to provide updates about herself, for the time being. As seen on her timeline, she is training hard, all the time to retain the killer shape of her body. In May, she was spotted training at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy. Prior to that, she joined WWE Superstars such as Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Kalisto at Hybrid School of Wrestling in Texas for such sessions.

Those must have led her to achieve a great body as she showcased the same on Instagram. In swimwear, Tessa Blanchard flaunted her almost grown abs, as you can see in the article. The caption of the photo had nothing but a diamond logo attached to it which is pretty much her shtick in professional wrestling for the past few years.
Tessa Blanchard and Daga are yet to sign for WWE
This led us to think that NXT’s Diamond Mine faction could have had some connection with Tessa Blanchard but that’s not the case. She has been a free agent since her departure from Impact Wrestling on June 25 last year. It was reported back in March that Daga, currently an AAA star, could be headed to AEW in the near future.
Tessa Blanchard: Neither WWE Nor AEW Interested In Former World Champ
Daga made his Impact debut back in February 2019. He last wrestled for the promotion in early March 2020. Daga and wife Tessa Blanchard stayed at home in Mexico for most of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic which was the sole reason behind their departure from Impact. The duo tied the knot in August of last year. The two were apparently busy celebrating their honeymoon period which is the reason they never came into the big leagues.
Tessa Blanchard has been away from pro wrestling for the most part since finishing up with Impact last summer. She left the promotion as World Champion as her contract was terminated a few days before it was originally about to end.
