In the main event of Wrestlemania 39 Night Two, Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. With this win, he now continues with his 945-day reign. Also, in an astonishing accolade, he has now ended three consecutive Wrestlemanias by retaining his title under the same ongoing reign.

Apart from this win, another big news coming out of the Show of Shows was that WWE is on the verge of a sale, and that move could restructure the entire pro wrestling world as McMahons will finally lose their hold on the map. Roman Reigns has been aware of the sale but he didn’t necessarily have a ton of time to worry about new owners.

The big news of UFC parent company Endeavor taking over the WWE dropped before the big WrestleMania main event match and it should be made official by the time the Raw after Wrestlemania 39 takes place, tonight. Addressing the situation, Roman Reigns made an interesting comment during the post-PLE press conference.

Roman Reigns bragged about him being around the WWE

Keeping his on-screen character intact, WWE’s Tribal Chief stated that he hasn’t heard much about that news because he was preparing for his big match against Cody Rhodes. Roman Reigns then added that any prospective buyer would be lucky to have him around,

“I was busy today smashing your favorite, so I don’t really know too much about that, but today’s a busy day for me. Whatever happens, I’m sure that they’ll be lucky to have me.” (transcription by Ringside News)

Roman Reigns also told everyone in that press conference that when he returned in 2020, he was going to change the game by telling a long-term story which is more than different than some TikTok story of 20 seconds.

The Head of the Table then challenged anybody to out-do what The Bloodline has been doing for almost 3 years now. He also begged someone to take those Titles away from him, if they can,

“We are the best. The man that I beat tonight, his dad told me that 10 years ago. I’m the greatest of all time. This is never gonna stop. Ever.”
