Back on May 22, 2020, WWE Superstar Toni Storm posted a photo with Juice Robinson with love emojis teasing that the two of them are dating. Just a couple of days later, she posted some cuddling pictures of the two to confirm her relationship with the New Japan Pro-wrestling star. She has added some more pictures on Instagram of the two.
Toni Storm then gushed over the fact that Juice happens to be the best thing that ever happened to her. For those who don’t know, Juice was also a part of WWE before moving to NJPW. He was part of WWE from 2011 to 2015, competing on NXT under the ring name CJ Parker while Storm – real name Toni Rossall is an active member of the current NXT roster.

As of now, Toni Storm is gearing up for the biggest opportunity of her career when she challenges Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Title in a Triple Threat also featuring Mercedes Martinez at NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day. With WWE’s backup plan in place, the superstar from New Zealand was also present in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Toni Storm wasn’t scheduled for Royal Rumble
That wasn’t obviously the original plan for her, though. Mia Yim, better known as Reckoning of RETRIBUTION, tested positive for COVID-19. She couldn’t work the Royal Rumble match and a replacement was needed. According to Fightful Select, Toni Storm was thus called up who filled up Reckoning’s place.
“Toni Storm actually wasn’t originally planned for the Rumble match, and ended up serving as an alternate when Yim couldn’t make it.”
Kacy Catanzaro was present at the ThunderDome venue and ready to fill in during the Royal Rumble match if needed. But since Toni Storm was already chosen to make her second Royal Rumble appearance, Kacy’s services. WWE’s intention wasn’t to use so many NXT Superstars. But they eventually used a few of them as it was much needed.
Toni Storm is just a 23-year old superstar who has a lengthy career waiting for her on the main roster, it appears. A fan asked who Storm would like to face on either RAW or SmackDown during a Q&A session on Twitter, and Storm answered it was an easy choice – WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. Storm also revealed what her favorite moment in NXT UK was by writing,
“Obviously beating Rhea Ripley to become NXT UK Women’s Champion…duh.”
