Around this past edition of WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020, one of the future female superstars from the roster, Toni Storm decided to address the audience. She was seen answering questions from fans on social media about a wide range of topics before she had one of the most memorable outings of her career, that is stepping into the WarGames cage.
Toni Storm teamed up with Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, and Candice LeRae to defeat Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai in that brutal WarGames match. Raquel picked up the pinfall on her team’s behalf. She was asked about her preparations for this match as she responded saying,
“Throwing my body against a cage repeatedly until I become immune to pain.”

Toni Storm Reveals Her Dream Opponent On WWE Main Roster
Another fan asked who Toni Storm would like to face on either RAW or SmackDown once she moves down to the main roster and Storm mentioned that it was an easy choice that is WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. She was also asked what her favorite moment in NXT UK was thus far in which she responded with,
“Obviously beating Rhea Ripley to become NXT UK Women’s Champion…duh.”
One of the asked questions related to a dream match at WrestleMania to which Toni Storm interestingly picked Mickie James as the opponent whom she’d like to face. Moving on, the former PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s Champion also mentioned how to dream tag team partner would have been Ashley Massaro. Additionally, she said her biggest inspiration in wrestling is WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
It’s certain that Toni Storm is a bonafide future star on WWE Women’s roster. She in her 20s meaning plenty of time is left to build her resume if everything remains right. Already, she has been an NXT UK Women’s Champion as well as the second Mae Young Classic winner in 2018. More success is bound to come if she remains in the good books of the WWE creative team.
WWE has recently turned Toni Storm a heel probably to build her up for a future title shot against Io Shirai. The heel-turn came after LeRae defeated Ember Moon in singles action in a pre-TakeOver NXT episode. The post-match angle saw Moon avoiding a beatdown by the heels. Storm came out to help Moon but she ended up attacking her and then joining Team LeRae.
