The year 2021 is in the history books and as always the top 25 WWE matches’ list has been released by the company. WWE Superstars worked hard throughout the pandemic season to entertain their audience, be it in front of them or them being in a virtual capacity inside the ThunderDome.
Going through all those, WWE has now put out a list of Top 25 WWE matches for the year 2021 as the year is coming to a close. The match that tops that list had already received the honor, according to many media outlets, but WWE officially placed it in the top spot on their website.
As seen in the Top 25 WWE matches’ list, Edge vs. Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell topped the list as this ended the trilogy of the dream feud in the most fitting way. Edge’s Wrestlemania match from Night Two also made it to the list.

The list of top 25 WWE matches in 2021 features matches from WWE NXT, NXT UK, RAW, and SmackDown. The top women’s bout in the list has Bianca Belair‘s WrestleMania 37 win over Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Title, which was given the number-two overall spot. Rapper Bad Bunny also made it to the list for his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37. Check out the other matches that made their way to the list.

Interestingly, AEW Superstar Daniel Bryan has made the list of Top 25 WWE matches of 2021 for his Wrestlemania 37 main-event encounter. WWE usually avoids such mentions, but it was hard to keep this bout off the chart as this one was one of the most anticipated matches of the year which live up to the expectations.
