Torrie Wilson is one of the hottest WWE female wrestlers to step into the WWE ring. Coming into the industry with the least wrestling experience, the WCW recruit became a sensation on Smackdown back in the Ruthless Aggression Era. Now she can also be dubbed as a WWE Hall of Famer which is a rare feat as she never won a Women’s Championship in the company.
Yesterday, Torrie Wilson turned 45 and got showered with best wishes from friends, colleagues, and millions of her fans around the world. While she’s not someone who generally goes down for a celebration or throws a party, she did oblige the wishes with a heartfelt post on Instagram. The blonde-head thanked all of those who took time to wish her on this special day,
“I love you guys so much!
The best part of today has been hearing from so many ppl I love, respect, miss, and even haven’t physically met but consider you a friend because you are here. And my heart is so happy hearing from ppl I haven’t seen or spoken to in a long time.
I’m not a huge bday celebrator but gosh I feel your love & am so grateful for the calls, texts, dm’s, posts.”
Going by her Instagram account, Torrie Wilson still remains an eye-candy to the fans. Even at this age, she is fitter than ever. After getting done with her wrestling career, she transformed into a fitness guru who creates training programs, mostly to women over 40. Thus, she is an inspiration to those who opted to follow her.
Torrie Wilson also graced the July/August issue of Strong Fitness Magazine and talked to the outlet. She mentioned being the healthiest and happiest, right now in her entire life. She has met her husband just a two and half years ago. The two of them are happily married, now.
The bombshell WWE Diva mentioned how she keeps herself the happiest through the daily sweat sessions and balanced eating. Restrictive dieting doesn’t exist in her vocabulary.
“Even when I was wrestling all those years, I still wasn’t happy with how I looked. I was constantly dieting to look good for a photoshoot, or trying the latest fad diet. I yo-yo’d for many years. Since I quit diets altogether, started eating things in moderation, and focused on lifting weights, I’ve been leaner and happier.”
Torrie Wilson started her career in the WWE back in 2001 when it was known as WWF. The stint continued till 2008 when her contract expired and she announced retirement. Apart from being a successful wrestler, she has been a top model, as well who posed for FHM and Playboys to gain some mainstream attention in the past.
