Triple H has not retired from in-ring competition, but considering his age, that day isn’t far away. Also, his position of being the EVP of Talent Relations in WWE as well as the head-honcho of NXT won’t allow him to extend his stint as a competitor in the WWE. He might be looking for a perfect opponent and that’s what he could get.
AJ Styles and Triple H have not faced each other in the squared circle in a match but The Phenomenal One seems to be 100% down if a creative idea could be pitched. He would be more than ready to send the fourteen-time world champion into retirement, as per the recent comments. Thus a dream match could also culminate.
Triple H: 14-Time WWE Champion To Have Retirement Match Against AJ Styles?
During his Twitch stream, AJ Styles was asked by a fan if he wants a match against Triple H. These two haven’t been against each other, but they have teamed up together in a tag team match. If WWE booked him against The Cerebral Assassin then Styles would love to compete in the match, especially if it’s going to be the latter’s final match.

“Should I throw it out there and send it out there that I’d be his last match. I would love to do that. I’ll let him know I’d do that with him. Him and I have been in the same ring together but we were on the same team. It was when we were in Japan. It was basically The O.C. and Triple H; that was fun.”
Triple H has missed WrestleMania this year, for the first time in 14 long years as his duties behind the scenes only seem to grow. Sooner or later, he’ll have to need to look around the possibility of competing in the last match. AJ Styles seems ready to send The Game into the sunset of his career. During a recent interview, Triple H mentioned how he isn’t forward to step back into the ring, ever again. But then again, WWE could need him to lace up the boots in the near future and he can’t deny. This is the reason why he still officially didn’t announce retirement. Perhaps, he can feel a WrestleMania or Saudi Arabia showdown is still left within him.
