More than 22 years ago, Trish Stratus started her legendary career in professional wrestling with the WWE. Despite all the setbacks from the bygone days, she went on to become one of the greatest female performers of all time and is also one of the most popular female superstars of all time.
She alongside Lita delivered one of the greatest rivalries in women’s wrestling which is also considered a benchmark for all modern-day wrestlers.
Originally, Trish Stratus’ televised debut took place on March 19, 2000 episode of Sunday Night Heat where she appeared on stage to observe Test and Prince Albert. They would eventually go on to form a tag team called T&A, the next night on RAW.

Moving on, Trish Stratus elevated her status to a bonafide wrestler from a valet who held the Women’s Championships on six different occasions. Recently, the legendary name noted how she is willing to have one more title run in the WWE if the circumstances stand right.

Then Trish Stratus also spoke with Jay Brody from The B Team. Mornings on 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where she was again asked whether she would ever return to the ring. The WWE Hall of Famer admitted that the circumstances have to be right, for her, the fans, and the opponent.
“I have always said, and this is upon retirement, ‘will you come back, would you ever step back?’ I said if it’s a challenge for me, if it’s fun, it’s got to be fun for me. It’s gotta offer the fans, I mean it’s all about what you can bring to the fans, right? So, am I bringing you something that’s entertaining, is it interesting, is it different?”
Trish Stratus wants to work with new superstars
Trish Stratus then went on to point out how she is interested to do things with new superstars, providing new content for the fans. This was when she noted that Stratusfaction could still be back on WWE TV for all the rightful reasons,
“Also, am I, I don’t want to say elevating another superstar, but am I doing something with someone new that you’ve never seen before? Am I doing something that will leave an impact on their trajectory perhaps, but also bring something for the fans? That was my return with Charlotte, that checked all the boxes for me. Like ‘okay, let’s do this.’ So I feel like if all those boxes are checked, I mean there could be some Stratusfaction that could ensue.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
During the interview, Trish Stratus admitted that if she was to make a comeback then Becky Lynch should be the person she would be focusing on. A suitable storyline could be arranged between the two after the way Lynch treated Lita recently leading to their match at Elimination Chamber 2022. It would be appropriate if she takes a stand for her bestie and thereby challenge Big Time Becks for a dream match.
