Being an old-school legend, Trish Stratus has been part of some of the traditions from the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era. Backlash pay-per-view is one of those events that has lasted on the WWE calendar for almost two decades. It was rebranded as Wrestlemania Backlash but it still found a way to get hosted in 2022.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus who is considered to be one of the most iconic popular female WWE Superstars in the company’s history reacted to social media which was recently buzzing about Wrestlemania backlash. Her contributions to the industry cannot ever be denied but she might not have experienced good things in this particular event.

2000
Trish Stratus made her Backlash debut and it was an impactful one. But it was on the same show that Bubba (and D-von) finally got their revenge on the team T&A. Trish was sent crashing through a table and Bubba loved every second of the happening despite their earlier loss to T&A.

2002
After defeating Molly Holly to earn a title shot against Jazz, Molly appeared at Backlash to claim that Trish Stratus had cheated before attacking her. Trish faced Jazz for the title but she ultimately came up short by tapping out to the STF.

2003
A rematch between Trish Stratus and Jazz took place at backlash 2003 but Trish entered the show as champion, this time. She entered the match with a rib and back injury, going up against the WWE doctors’ advice. After a lot of shenanigans during the match, Trish would ultimately lose her Women’s Championship to Jazz.

2004
Trish Stratus and Christian competed against Chris Jericho in a handicap match but at Backlash, Jericho got his revenge for what the couple had done to him at Wrestlemania XX.

2005
Big Daddy V suffered a loss to Kane at this Backlash event with Trish Stratus and Lita standing at ringside. Out of frustration, V put Trish out of action for 5 months with a giant splash.

Trish Stratus and Mickie James battled in this highly anticipated rematch from Wrestlemania 22. However, Mickie lost the match via DQ and retained the women’s title. Trish also suffered a serious shoulder injury during the match that bothered her for months.
