Twitter Reactions From This Week’s WWE Smackdown Live: March 20, 2018
Mar 21, 2018 at 2:03 PM
The opening of Smackdown Live could not have been better with the news of Daniel Bryan getting medically cleared. It was an emotional night for the man himself and the fans, as well. An inspirational promo was delivered by the GM of the show that was gratifying to big extents. This also made the fans hopeful that they might see their favorite WWE superstar back in the ring at the biggest event of the year.
Wow, what an emotional and moving promo by Daniel Bryan tonight, everything about that was real, I still can’t believe we are getting to see him get back in the ring, loved the tease for #WrestleMania in three weeks #SDLive

The opening contest was a good one between Nakamura and Rusev. With AJ Styles being injured, he was kept away from any sorts of physical contacts on Smackdown. This is why Nakamura did not need any help from the WWE Champion on the night. The creative team is building up the Royal Rumble winner in a big way. This is quite needed considering that The Artist will be gunning for the WWE Championship, sooner.
I’ll be perfectly honest in saying I wasn’t expecting much of a match between Charlotte and Natalya tonight, boy was I surprised, great effort by both ladies tonight including another teased #MITB cash-in by Carmella to setup the finish #SDLive

The women’s division matchup between Charlotte Flair and Natalya was a repeated one on Smackdown. Despite the repeated lineup, these two ladies put all the stops out in order to deliver a great matchup. The teasing of Carmella cashing in the MITB briefcase was great, as well. This is keeping this heel superstar ready for a potential title match in recent times especially at a time when Wrestlemania is around the corner.
A segment was hosted amongst Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, and Jinder Mahal to keep the rivalry ongoing for the Wrestlemania season. These three have made it a norm to deliver a sun segment on a weekly basis. It was not an exception on last night’s show, as well. It will be pretty fun to see them tearing up each other in an upcoming United States Championship match.
Wow, what a powerful segment and getting to see Daniel Bryan get physical again tonight after “firing” Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, I love the tension and setup for #WrestleMania in a few weeks tonight #SDLive

Smackdown ended in a huge way with Daniel Bryan getting involved in a physical capacity for the first time in nearly three years, in the WWE. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn delivered yet another massive ambush to solidify their tag as the resident heels of the blue brand. Also, this attack will definitely change the course of Wrestlemania 34. Bryan is going to seek vengeance in the upcoming weeks, for sure setting up a mouth-watering bout.
Easily one of the strongest episodes from the blue brand in weeks, Daniel Bryan’s comeback is in full swing already and it’s so much fun to watch, some solid in-ring action tonight as well, they really stepped it up tonight in Dallas #SDLive

People might think that I’m not good enough to wrestle on #SDLive & don’t deserve to be in that squared circle. I will continue to train every day! Because NO ONE will stop me from doing what I love & achieving my dreams. Always resiliently chase your dreams

They’ll never do it but corporate heel champ Roman backed by a heel Vince, being chased by returning babyface Daniel Bryan would do better business than anything since the attitude era #SDLive

Well it’s official, @WWEDanielBryan is the most over babyface.
