Twitter Reactions From Last Night’s WWE Raw: March 5, 2018

Last night’s WWE Raw was a slobber-knocker one from a storyline perspective. It was a genius of the creative team of the WWE to turn around the negative reactions around Ronda Rousey to a positive one. The reactions were huge for her when Stephanie was attacked by the former UFC Bantamweight Champion. Kurt Angle getting added to the mix was also cheered from the audience.
Really strong opener for #RAW. That #WrestleMania match is set. The crowd loved that, and I have to say I’m pumped up about it.

The main event matchup between Nia Jax and Asuka fell short to a certain extent. This match hyped up WWE Raw from Milwaukee, Wisconsin which failed to deliver. The result was much predictable which went in the favor of the former NXT Champion. But, the match failed to drive any sort of reactions from the crowd. This is not favoring Asuka, as well heading into Wrestlemania 34.
Below par match with Nia Jax and Asuka. The crowd wasn’t into the finish. They’re not doing Asuka any favors with these matches. At least she finally got the submission. #RAW

The match between John Cena and Goldust was a pleasant surprise for the fans. These two have never faced off inside the ring despite spending in the company for two decades. So, the contest was appreciated by the Milwaukee fans. In the end, Cena winning was evident since he is heading towards the Fastlane PPV.
I really liked the stuff with John Cena and Goldust. It’s outside the box. They used to do things like this all the time with top guys randomly going against an undercard dude for a one night angle. Good stuff. #RAW

It was nice to see the buildup between Bayley and Sasha Banks for a potential matchup. We can expect the WWE audience to erupt when these two will finally turn on each other in the following weeks. It is evident that the match is happening at Wrestlemania. Plus, there was a regular cheer reserved for Braun Strowman after he started destroying Elias on WWE Raw. This man has become a weekly dose of entertainment for the fans.
What a freaking promo from Paul Heyman. That was wild and edgy. Hopefully he sticks around if Brock Lesnar indeed does walk away after #WrestleMania. He’s too valuable to not be involved. #RAW

The finishing segment was a nice one, too which has pleased the hardcore fans to a huge extent. Paul Heyman turns into a beast after getting a mic. So, he delivered a suitable promo to encounter the one delivered by Roman Reigns, last week. Reigns showed giving a proper reply to him, as well. In this process, the Big Dog is looking great in verbal skills, at this point.
Overall, a good #RAW bookended by a strong opener and a strong closer. I really liked the John Cena/Goldust stuff, as well as the #SymphonyofDestruction match. I’d give this a solid thumbs up.
