The Deadman was believed to return in the Royal Rumble pay per view but that did not happen as WWE has saved the big time planned segment for another appropriate time.
According to the reports, the deadman will be back to kickstart the road to Wrestlemania as he will appear on the next RAW post Faslane PPV. This will be the first time that he will appear on any televised program in 2016. When it comes to Taker’s rumored opponents, Braun Strowman and surprisingly, Kevin Owens’s name has also been doing the rounds.
As far as the Blacksheep’s opportunity to face the deadman is concerned, WWE reportedly plans on having Strowman go up against Big Show at Fastlane and move on to a WrestleMania showdown with the Deadman. As for Kevin Owens he is currently feudless and the prizefighter always looks for the big things. So to give him a big push it’s quite evident to give him the match with the Phenom at the grandest stage. The skills that he had, it’s expected that he will match to the hype of the match.
In the case of his much-talked retirement, i.e. many speculate that this will be his last outing at the Wrestlemania in his home state of Texas. But, the reports are assuring the fans that this won’t be the last time we will see the Deadman in action, which will give a great relief to the legion of taker fans.
As reported earlier, the legend is in perfect shape due to his more outings last year and he is in good shape as shown in a released video. So it is expected that he will be involved in one or two more matches before calling it a quit for the final time.
