SmackDown Superstar Sasha Banks possibly had injured herself during this past Sunday’s WWE live event in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Reports from PWInsider first hinted the same that the top star could have picked up the injury during her match against Charlotte Flair at the bygone show during their Smackdown Women’s Championship match.
According to the report, Sasha Banks’ leg was planted in a wrong way when she digested an over-the-knee backbreaker by Flair. She kicked out of a pin-fall attempt but stayed down for some time after the move was performed. The referee checked on her as the title match quickly went to a finish, with Flair successfully retaining the Smackdown Women’s Championship over her bitter rival.

Once the match was over, Sasha Banks was helped out of the ring by officials and was also being checked over for possible injuries by the medics in concern. This obviously brought some worries over the global fanbase of the top superstar which could be devastating for the Smackdown roster. But thankfully, she might be doing just okay.

Over on Twitter, Sasha Banks herself updated fans with a short statement, “I’m good, thank you for the love always.” After this post, It turns out that The Boss is going to be okay after all who would also be appearing on Smackdown without any delay. This is great news for WWE as they weren’t in a position to lose any more members of their roster at a time like this.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns missed out on a portion of the WWE holiday tours amid the COVID-19 outbreak. He then also missed the WWE Day 1 PPV after getting tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the PPV. This resulted in his Universal Title defense against Brock Lesnar getting canceled. Lesnar then ended up winning the WWE Championship from Raw.

Apart from Reigns’ absence and Sasha Banks’ injury, WWE Day 1 witnessed another injury. Drew McIntyre defeated Madcap Moss in a singles match and then he got brutally assaulted by Happy Corbin and Madcap. They hurt his neck by wrapping a steel chair around it after which Corbin hit the chair with a piece of Scaffolding. News now is that McIntyre is dealing with a legit neck injury that could keep him aside from the in-ring competition.
