The pro-wrestling industry was concerned over the fact that a health scare broke out around one of the veteran wrestlers present in the circuit. Following this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Atlanta, Georgia, Scott Steiner reportedly collapsed at the venue. He was rushed into a local hospital that raised concerns among his followers. But he is said to be doing fine, as of now.

Impact Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore gave an update on Twitter reporting that Scott Steiner was doing okay at the hospital. Below is what D’Amore wrote on his social media account,
“For all concerned parties @ScottSteiner is OK. His family is grateful for everybody’s concern and support.”
It seems to be relieving the followers of the veteran star who’s been in, active in-ring competition for over two decades.
PWInsider.com further provided an update saying that Scott Steiner is scheduled to ‘undergo a heart procedure’ as he remains in stable condition.
It was earlier reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, the 57-year old superstar collapsed during Impact TV taping which had something to do with the heart issues. He was quickly taken care of by paramedics available at the tapings after collapsing. They have taken Scott Steiner to the emergency room. It was also noted that he appeared to be doing absolutely fine throughout the day before collapsing.

Scott Steiner is well known for his excellent physique maintained throughout all these years. He basically plays a flamboyant persona who gets surrounded by the female superstars. At present, Impact Wrestling has him under contract and uses him on temporary occasions when they are in need of star power. At times, he was also part of the WWE Universe, too.

Also known as Big Poppa Pump, the former WCW star arrived in the WWE at the last decade to have a storyline with the McMahons and Eric Bischoff. It eventually produced a feud with Triple H for the world heavyweight championships but he was unable to pick up the belt. Thereafter, the khaki attitude of Scott Steiner did not allow him to be on good terms with the company officials which led to the eventual departure.
